Camacho Surname Project / Proyecto del Apellido Camacho
The Camacho Surname Project is trying to unite all the Camacho's of the world through YDNA. We need volunteers for this project. With this project we can know if all the Camacho's are related, we can know how many Camacho Clans exists today, and Point of Origin of the Camacho lineages. We have another big objetive with this project. To know if the Camacho's that live in Puerto Rico come from the same lineage.
In Puerto Rico, there were Camacho's early in the colonization, there were Camacho's arriving in the late 1800's... are all of them from the same lineage?
Are the Camacho's of Puerto Rico from the same lineage as the ones in Mexico, Bolivia, Spain or Portugal?
If you're a Camacho and a male, we encourage you to do the YDNA-12, 25 or 37 test. If you're a Camacho female, you can encourage your father or brother or Camacho cousin to do the test. You can do your MtDNA test too if you are a Camacho male, so we can see how our lineages are related to the female MtDNA of the Camacho's.
If you are a Camacho living anywhere in the world, Join Us! There are Camacho's spread all over America and Europe, even in Asia, the Pacific and everywhere.
