In the OLIVE GREEN GROUP: The James BRANNAN b.1802, Ulster, Ire.- d.1836 Ohio is awaiting results of a SNP-R-1b test. He left Londonderry, Ireland aboard an American ship, The Robert Fulton. He arrived in New York July 24,1826. He was one of 137 passengers. He was 24 years old. He made his way to Ohio and married Catherine Hauenstein in1830. Her family was from Switzerland and Germany. They had a girl and a boy. James died in Stark County, Ohio in 1836. He was 34 years old. The other member of the group being the William A. BRANNON m. Mary Payne line, they share a genetic distance of "1" for 25 markers.
The YELLOW GROUP: Are descendants of James L. BRANUM 1826 TN- 1892 Mo.and William BRANUM b. 1804 NC-d.MO that they are a PERFECT MATCH for all 37 Markers. They have since been contacted by another cousin living in England, who contacted the project after finding her line represented here.
