Results for 37 markers of three members have been received and they matched at ALL 37 markers. This result is somewhat surprising since there are six generations between two of these testees and one would have expected a mutation or two; not so ... they all matched perfectly at 37 markers. These three derive from William Ansley of Monmouth Co NJ. A fourth member (proven by these DNA results) matched the 3 above, but showed a 2 step mutation at 37 markers. We have not been able to ID anyone who can further determine the MCRA by further controlled testing.

We have recently been joined by a known Annesley (Nottinghamshire group); however, his 12 marker Y-DNA did not match any others in our project.  We need Ainsleys from England and Scotland to test.
