To join this Project, you need to have an mtDNA test at Family Tree DNA showing a result in mtDNA Haplogroup H13.

Members are encouraged to have the FMS (Full Mitochondrial Sequence), aka FGS (Full Genome Sequence of the Mitochondria) test at FTDNA.

mtDNA tests reveal the DNA-based ancestral type of your genetic matrilineal line via your biological mother's mother's mother's mother.
