The goal of the Friuli Venezia Giulia DNA Project is to study the genetic heritage of this Italian border region.
Deep and recent ethnic background of actual inhabitants of Friuli-Venezia Giulia will be investigated by means of DNA testing, both YDNA for paternal lines and mtDNA for maternal lines.
