Objectives: Identify others who are related and determine locations of the surname for further research. This information is primarily used for genetic research purposes of its group members. This project is open to any Y-DNA of any length of markers (e.g. 12, 25, 35, 67, 111 markers). You are not encouraged to join this project if you have a MtDNA kit, as this is only for tracing the paternal surname line (i.e. only Y-DNA kits). If you are a female and want to trace your Zaborowski paternal line, please locate a living male, like a father, uncle, brother, and ask them to purchase a Y-DNA test (there is currently a sale on the Y-DNA tests). If you have a different surname, but think that you may be of the Zaborowski male line (like a variant surname), please join and the group will review to see if you are. This project is open to donations. Since it is a hardship for some of Zaborowski cousins to pay for DNA kits, donations of $25 & up would be much appreciated and would be added to the general charitable fund of this project.
