The Midkiff DNA project is set up to determine the country of origin of the Midkiff surname, as well as determine if the various Midkiff spellings are indeed related as we suspect they might be. There are variations of spelling other than those mentioned, and we welcome you into the study, in fact we beg you to join us. DNA testing is so new as a genealogic tool, and the labs are improving at a rapid rate. The more tests that are performed, the greater the knowledge for researchers.
