Purpose:

The purpose of this project is to help with the exploration of whether/how Yohes (primarily those of German origin) are connected to each other.  "Yohe" includes numerous variants:  Joh, Yoh, Yohe, Yohey, Yoey, Yoe, Yoho, Yough, Yew, Ewe, Eow, and others.  In some cases, the names have mutated to surprising variants such as Youch and Yost (though most Yosts appear not to be related to members of this project).
