Our first results indicate that a comparison of 25 markers of the Y-DNA, kit 64753 and kit 205685 have a genetic distance of one. Both of these kits have a genetic distance of ten from kit 206581. This is the expected result because kit 206581 has a different surname than the other two. Further demonstrating this is the 67 marker comparison, kit 205685 and 206581 have a genetic distance of 22. Further analysis will be done when additional markers are received on kit 64753.

Now that we have 67 markers on all male participants, I can make some inferences.  Jack and Lester your genetic distance is only one.Which makes sense as you are descended from Wygle brothers, Archibald and Uriah.  Jack, you and I are one generation further from our most recent common ancestor, Jacob, than is Lester. I am a genetic distance of 22 from both you and Lester.  Jack this is so, even though we all descend from Jacob,as  I have a different Y-DNA line than you do, Holcombe.  While all of this is interesting We will need more people to test from different branches and different spots on those branches.  I shall follow up with a short analysis for mtDNA, at a later date. So far I haven't tested my mtDNA.
