The Y-DNA SNP results show that the Wine males that have tested are in the Haplotype R-S1051. These tests also show that these males are distantly related to Whitacre's and Waterhouse's of Yorkshire and Lancashire England around and before 1600......

As an interesting fact, the R-S1051 Haplotype was found in ancient skeletons found in Yorkshire Roman grave yards dated to 200-250 AD. These skeletons have been theorized to be gladiators at the Roman York Military Headquarters.
