WHITSON, and any other reasonable spelling variations are welcome to join the project. Only males have Y-chromosomes, so only male WHITSON etc will have YDNA. If you are female, and you want to participate we suggest you submit the YDNA of your nearest male WHITSON, blood, relative from your line. To participate meaningfully, and where possible, participants may share their direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known WHITSON etc., in the form of a pedigree summary (excluding living persons).
