This project is a yDNA surname project to connect Whitehorn/Whitehorne/Whythorne cousins through paternal (yDNA) testing and open to all spellings of the surname. Please upload your family tree to the MyHeritage link available on your account page. Comparing members of your family tree with other members is the only way to determine actual relationships. The projects will accept any level of Y-DNA of testing but for results to be meaningful, participants must be tested to the yDNA111, while testing to the y700-DNA level provides the best comparisons. Completing the Family Finder test is strongly encouraged and although Mitochondrial testing (mtDNA) is not required, it is welcome information.
