The Weymouth surname project is intended to explore the interrelationship of all individuals and families having the name Weymouth (or its variations) using DNA testing. Many of the Weymouth/Waymouth families in the USA and New Zealand are believed to descend from early New England ancestors who emigrated from Devon, England. We hope this project may clear up questions regarding those ancestors and their many descendants. If other variations to the surname need to be added to the project, please inform the Group Administrator.
