This project to compare the the DNA results from all the various spellings and deviations in our surnames. The various spellings have originated through natural and intentional changes in our surname and have happened over a thousand years or more. Most changes were made due to phonic changes and illiteracy. Some changes were made intentionally to either simplify or to Americanize the name.
