This project follows the Descendants of Carel Fonteyn and Catherine de Baile. With a sufficient number of participants, we may be able to correctly determine ancestral lines -- eventually all the way to France. If your surname is Van Tine / Vantine / Van Tyne or Vantyne, you are very likely to be a part of this lineage. The only certain exceptions are the Warren Vantine family and descendants of Massachusetts. There may be others. You are welcome to inquire about your ancestry before joining the group.
