Thomas and Jeremiah are viewed as the "Colonial forefathers" for thousands of Vail family members in the United States. Were they brothers? Were they related at all? Numerous books have been published since the early 1900's about the Vails. Although many descendant lines are well documented, emerging Y-DNA research can bring new historic insights and challenge long held theories about this storied early American family. Our goals include helping descendants trace their roots and identifying new branches of their Vail family lineage.
