The goals of the U5a1a1-FGS DNA Project are to:

        (1.) To create a team with every mtDNA member who has tested their full sequence, resulting in the U5a1a1 haplogroup.
        (2.) To provide another method of breaking down our genealogical brick walls.
        (3.) To assist researchers in finding genealogical cousins with whom they can join forces to further their lineage.
        (4.) To post the tested lineages , on this website, in Mitosearch, and in the FTDNA Gedcom.
