About us
The 'Tzvik' Connection project encompasses the surnames 'Tzvik' 'Tzvi' 'Zwick' 'Wick' 'Swack' 'Chwick' 'Chadwick' 'Zurick' 'Zweig' 'Cvik' 'Mandelzweig' & 'Shofich/Shaff' (7/2008). Others can/may be added later.
The project is currently setup to trace the male 'Y' chromosome, as this replicates virtually through the male off-springs (generational variations do occur). Female descendants of the Chwick/Zwick family can be included (using the mtDNA test), but this data would be used slightly different, as it is from the maternal side.
Our goal is to create a 'Tzvik/Tzvok' DNA database that can be used for genealogical purposes only.
