The purpose of this project is to determine relationships among various TRESSLER families worldwide.  Some TRESSLER families in the USA are descended from DRESSLER families in Germany.  We will seek participants from both of these surnames.

This project is open to any male who carries the TRESSLER surname, or any variant believed to be related.  Since this is a surname project, the primary tool will be the Y-DNA tests, which can only be taken by men.  However, the project will also be open to closely related individuals who have taken the Family Finder test.
