The Y-DNA results of two Project members have been posted and can be viewed under the "Y-DNA Results" drop-down menu. Despite the common Totten surname between them, they are not related to each other. However, they are both in Haplogroup R1b1a2. Surprisingly, neither has Y-DNA matches with any of the Tottens in the Family Tree DNA database, although one has a close match to a Tatten surnamed individyual in the database. It is therefore extremely important that other Totten/Tatten surnamed individuals join the Project to help clarify these unusual circumstances.
