The project has two goals: Prove where in England Thomas Tolman came from and find all genetic Tolmans. If there is someone who is a genetic Tolman but does not know because they are adopted, have a misattributed parentage in their tree, etc. then our goal is to help them find their biological family. DNA can only add to your family. Legal relationships are just as valid as genetic ones.
