This project connects families that have male (yDNA) and female (mtDNA) line ancestry in the Tjust area of Sweden. Tjust includes the parishes of Blackstad, Dalhem, Gamleby, Gladhammar, Gärdserum, Hallingeberg, Hannäs, Hjorted, Locknevi, Lofta, Loftahammar, Odensvi, Tryserum, Törnsfall, Ukna, Västrum, Vimmerby, Västervik, Västra Ed, Östra Ed, and Överum. The largest city is the seaport city Västervik.
