The Rock Surname DNA project hopes to find linkage between the various Rock, Rocke, Rocks families and to determine if they share a Rock ancestor. It hopes to enable testers to find related Rock families. The Rock Surname Project will focus too on matching Rock families in the USA, Canada, etc., with those Rock families in Ireland, the UK, etc. The project is open to any spelling variation of the name, including: Rock, Rocke, Rocks, Roc, Rox, Roch, McCarrick, McCarrig, McCarrigy, McConcarrig, Carrigee, Carrigy, Carrig, Carrick, all with or without a Mc prefix.
