About us
I created this project with the idea of creating a community of Barranquiteños where we can share our stories and history, as well, as connect and contribute to our family trees with the help of our members.
I also intend to ask all members to contribute their data to this project so that we can start tracing our ancestors locations and DNA haplogroups found uniquely in Barranquitas through the charts provided here in FamilyTree DNA and which you will have access as a member of this group.
Therefore, it is required that you or the family member that you are providing the info of is from Barranquitas. I have already set up the privacy settings so only members can see this data and as always expected the project will follow FamilyTree DNA policies and group administrator guidelines.
Please note that this is my first project and today (May 21, 2016) is the start of it. I am just learning to use the tools, so the project might look primitive at first but I hope to improve it as I learn the program. I also hope that you all also help me grow the community and help me improve it as it grows in age.
