The Bachle DNA Project started as a result of my participation in the National Geographic Genographic Project. After I obtained the results of their research, I decided to pursue further DNA research into the Bachle surname and surnames of my grand and great grandparents. My family has a documented family tree reaching back into the 1500s that my grandfather obtained from Germany in the 1930s. Since "Bachle" is not a common as say "Smith" or "Jones," it seems reasonable that other interested members may join this more limited geneology project.
