The Thaggard Family Project is open to all who are interested inworking together to find their common heritage through sharing of informationand DNA testing. All variant spellings are welcome. This project arises from research currently being conducted on the Thaggard/Thagard surname in America. It is thought that the surname originated in America with a Danish soldier fighting for the British in the American Revolution. There are many questions to be answered regarding this surname, both in America and other countries. It is hoped that through this project a common heritage will be discovered.
