Although this is a Y-DNA testing project which means it tests direct male descendents of the Teune/Thöne line, Teune women who wish to test their matrilineal ancestry via an mtDNA test are welcome to participate. For the Y-DNA tests, I suggest the starting with the least expensive option of the 12 marker $99 test (we receive a discount off of the normal $149 price as this is a group project).
