This Project was set up to find the connection of the Tarwaters after they left Tennessee and migrated West. However, any and all Tarwaters are welcome to join and try to unravel the mysteries of our ancestors path from Europe. The second goal of the project is to establish a genetic link to the Tarwaters from Freckefeld, Germany; Maulbronn, Germany and Wohlen Kanton Bern, Switzerland. Free yDNA37 marker kits are available, courtesy of the project, for male Tarwaters whose Tarwater ancestors are paper traced to Freckenfeld, German and/or Wohlen Kanton Bern, Switzerland.
