My parents family names were Cooper (paternal) and Trabox (maternal). I do not know where my father's family came from, but they had London, Brighton and Yorkshire connections I believe. My paternal grandmother had Scottich connections, the family name was Hood.
My maternal granfather came from the Wheathampstead area, I know no more.
My maternal grandmother was Irish, her name was, I believe, Martha McQuerk (spelling quessed at!).
