This new feature is being launched Tue 17 Sept 2024 to provide incentives for new participants to join the project. Any and all current project members are invited to create a patriarchs biography (a mini bio) for any patriarch for which they hope to deduce a Y chromosome DNA profile. To that end, a "mini-bio' of any given patriarch can be sent to the administrator or co-administrator for posting on the home page in the Goals tab (link). The mini-bio should include sufficient data to identify a known ancestor, but limited to that which is clearly essential to identifying him from historical/genealogical records. To that end, several patriarchs are posted today, as listed below. Please send any lines for publication here at your convenience. Incentives in the form of FTDNA Gift Cards for discounts are being considered, to be paid by the persons who seek the DNA profiles of the ancestral lines being tested.
