This project is open to anyone confirmed or predicted to belong to Y-DNA Haplogroup S. To qualify, the first letter in your haplogroup designation (BEFORE the hyphen) must be an S. Having an S-prefix terminal SNP (AFTER the hyphen) doesn't mean your haplogroup is S.
