The Stower-Stowers DNA Project was established to verify, support and supplement the genealogical research of the Stower and Stowers derivative surnames. Our current goals are to link all of the Stower-Stowers Ancestors from all over the world back to the United Kingdom. We believe the first Stower came from Dorset, England in the 1600's and the Stowers came from Suffolk, England in the 1600's. Other Stowers came over from London around 1800. More Stower came from England around 1850.
