The primary objective of this project is to identify the key DNA markers for the Starr surname and to determine differences between various branches of Starr's.

The second objective is to determine whether the two lines above may be related within a genealogically reasonable time frame.

The third objective is to determine the relationship between the various German Stairs/Starrs/Stoehrs.

The fourth objective is to assist those people who have been unable to make a direct connection to any Starr line using the traditional genealogical resources.
