Please note that all members previously included in 3 major regional projects, Southern Smiths DNA, Northeastern Smiths aka Smith Connections NE , and Worldwide Smiths members have been rolled into one master project that covers all Smiths regardless of geographical location in the world. Therefore, Southern Smiths DNA project is now part of a huge project (over 1350 members with 140 groups that match) comprised of all Smiths that covers all territory in the world. Males of direct Smith/Smyth descent (ie, your last name is Smith and your father was a Smith) are eligible OR if you have a male Smith relative, consider asking him to take the test as your representative.Requirement of the project is that you provide your family tree line and pedigree for comparison with others also in the project.We also list mtDNA, Family Finder results.
