About us
The goal of this surname project is to connect families with variant spellings and locations of the Shue, Shuey, Shuh, Shoe, Shew name.
Males with one of these surname spellings may take a test, and become a member of the surname project.
Female researchers are encouraged to ask a male relative with one of the surname spellings to participate.
As the number of members grows, then we may be able to determine if families from different locations may be connected. We may eventually have sub groups based on geographic location of the earliest ancestors.
You have the choice as to the number of marker tests. 12 markers is the least expensive, but has very limited analysis potential . The more markers tested increases the probability of discovering the differences and similarities of the surname by geographic region, and family groups.
By using documentation and DNA tests, your brickwall may topple down! Of course, this is not a guarantee of success.
Feel free to contact us with any questions. We will certainly try to answer them to the best of my knowledge and ability.
