This is a project of the Society of Descendants of Johannes de la Montagne (1595-1670), Huguenot physician of New Amsterdam whose descendants are spread all over North America and who use many different variations of the DE LA MONTAGNE surname.
If you are a male and carry any spelling of the de la Montagne surname, please take the Big Y test or the 111 Marker Y-STR test.
All other de la Montagne descendants will take the Family Finder (atDNA) and/or the Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) test.
