The main goal of the Root / Roots DNA Project is to distinguish between Root ancestral lines, worldwide. 

Ed Sanville: I'm kit B352921 and my father is 853092.  My "Root" line via Gladys Muriel Root (Frank's mother) -> Dana Leslie Root -> David Root -> Samuel Stillman Root -> Lemuel Root (b1763 Coventry, CT).  My Roots then moved westward into Vermont.  Most ending up in Rochester, VT.
