About us

This project is new as of the start of 2022.

The Romine family project is mainly for individuals with the surname Romine, Romines, Romeyn, Romain, Romijn or variants thereof that have tested their yDNA.  

  • We also accept direct descendants of this family that have had their autosomal DNA tested to assist with a complementary autosomal study.  
  • We also accept Y700 testers that connect to the Romine line at a haplotype that occurs in the common era
To help the project research we ask that all prospective members post a tree in FamilyTreeDNA.  The tree should minimally include your direct line to the Romine family.
