About us
--Update (April 2012), we've expanded to include the Family Finder test (autosomal DNA). This allows us to include any (!) descendant of Roger Amadowne, regardless of gender or how many generations from an Amadowne surname. Also of note is that we will be testing a female descendant of a John Annadown who could be connected to Roger via England.
--Update (June 2009), two of the three cousins have tested to 67 markers with two mutations. Deep haplogroup determination is I1*, and we've ruled out I1a, I1b, I1c, I1d, and I1e. We're also waiting on results from a person with the family name of Amadio, who has traced his family to Italy in the 1600s. Another person with the surname of Annadown is considering testing.
--Update (November 2006), all three cousins' results are in. Two cousins are perfect 12-marker matches and the third has 11/12 matches with the one mutation being a commonly mutated marker. Deep haplogroup determination is pending.
