This project is ment for the family Rödel / Roedel with all its spellings variations.
We assume there are several different families from different regions, mostly in Germany.
E.g.: Palatine/Saar, Bayern, Leipzig, Mannheim.
The oldest mentioning of the name is in Switserland, just north of Luzern in the early 15th century.
Members of these families live nowadays in Germany, France, Netherlands and US.
