The goals of this Y-DNA project are to find and connect other Redpaths, variants included, to one another, share information and get specific on genetic origins. I ask that you please be open minded. Sometimes we may think that our surnames have a genetic connection to us but as science will prove or disprove who we really are. We only know so much of our family history and the story of our ancestors gets lost with time. Sometimes non-paternal events (NPE) happen such as an infidelity or adoption and will play a role in changing our genetic story.
