The group was started in hopes of being able to document or disprove connections with Godfrey II.

Our goal is to test as many Ragsdale males as possible in hopes of determining for sure if there is a "common" Ragsdale ancestor in order to enable current, future, and even non-particpant researchers to expand their research and knowledge base.

The group's special interest lies in those Ragsdale males that are "documented" descendants of Godfrey II. I am also looking to enlist Ragsdales from the United Kingdom, where it is assumed that most, if not all, Ragsdale ancestors would have originated.
