The R-P278 haplogroup project is open to all people with haplogroup R-P278 and its subclades. R-P278 represents a man who lived around 200 BC. Currently, there are more than 600 people with haplogroup R-P278 or its descendants in the Family Tree DNA database, with ancestors coming mainly from Czechia, Poland, and other central-European countries.
