Having started with the primary surname project, the aim has always been to analyze the genetics of every Quin, Quin, O'Quin, O'Quinn to Build a Valid Repository of DNA Results that we can all use as we vet out fact from fiction. That said we have not had a great number of testers having yDNA tests done for whatever reason.  

yDNA is the only tool that will allow us to make the assertions as we move forward.  However, autosomal testing can help us triangulate the multitude of pathways to the Quinn surname for those that do not bear the surname.  How are we connected, where are the hot spots for Quinn families of North America, etc...
