This project is open to anyone with a surname beginning with PRUSK-, PROSK-, PRUSZK-, PROSZK-, PROZK-, or PRUZK-, especially one like PRUSKOWSKY, PRUSKOWSKI, PRUSKOVS(Z)KY, PROS(Z)KOWSKI, PROSKOWSKY; PROSKOWETZ, PROSKOWITZ, PRUSKOWETZ, and PRUSKOWITZ; or PROSKAU, PRUSKOW, and PRUSKAY. The surname list has more more examples, as well as other surnames taken by lineages of some Pruskowsky families. The Background (detailed) and Goals (short) sections explain better. We're trying to find members of a specific Pruskowsky von Proskau family, but anyone with a similar surname from Poland (esp. Silesia), Bohemia, Moravia, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, etc. is welcome. Determining different lineages is not possible without having multiple members from different families.
