PENNY, PENNEY, PINNEY, PENNIE, PENAY, PENNIJ, PANNIJ, PANJE, and any other reasonable spelling variations are welcome to join the project. The project includes all forms of DNA but yDNA is the most easily identified with surnames. While only males of the direct Penny line can take a yDNA test, autosomal tests like the Family Finder on FTDNA or the tests available from other companies like Ancestry also provide meaningful information on a line. To participate meaningfully, test-takers will need to share their Penny line ancestry back to their earliest known PENNY/etc., preferably in wikitree or another online tree.
