This project is researching the ancestry of people from the Outer Bay of Islands,Newfoundland. Members can be from any of the outer Bay of Islands communities and also anyone who genetically connects with our community members. This will enable research into the migration across the province of Newfoundland and Labrador and find where our ancestors initially settled before eventually settling in the Bay of Islands. This project is also concerned with tracing our family roots to Europe and when possible to lead to countries of origin and hopefully individual communities within those countries.
