DNA test results can be used to make connections with known and unknown whānau, hapū and iwi
Project goals

To facilitate collaboration and connections between testers
- To provide information to project participants about their DNA results
- To support participants to use their DNA results in order to establish genealogical connections with project members and other matches
The project is open to
- NZ Māori with Family Finder (autosomal or atDNA) results - from a direct test at FTDNA or from a raw data upload/transfer from Ancestry, MyHeritage, 23andMe or LivingDNA, and/or

NZ Māori with mtDNA test results indicating a Māori/Polynesian mtDNA haplogroup, and/or

NZ Māori with Y-DNA test results indicating a Māori/Polynesian Y-DNA haplogroup
