Project Background The Norwich, CT Founder's/Settler's yDNA Geographical Project is for any male's FTDNA test result whose ancestor was one of Norwich's founders. You can join this Geographic project if you have been tested by FamilyTreeDNA . Existing FTDNA customers can conveniently join this project using the blue JOIN button at the top of their personal FTDNA test results home page. Goals This DNA project is focused on the Founder's/Settler's of Norwich, CT. First goal is to have those with paper trails with any of those listed and that have had their Ydna tested join the Project. Ideally these participants also know what part of England these ancestors originated and their respective Haplogroups. Second goal would be to encourage those with matching surnames that are not certain of their respective paper trails to join, be tested and subsequently verify their ancestry.
