About us
The aim of the NETTELL/NETTEL/NETTLE Surname DNA project is to support Nettell/Nettel/Nettle family researchers by
1. Putting families in touch with their genetic cousins
2. Dividing these surnames into groups of related families to help determine the place of origin for each group
3. Identifying distinct branches of the families belonging to a single group and subbranches within each family
4. Building up a database of distinct lines so that Nettell/Nettle descendants can link into their own line and learn the history of their family
